אחלה שידורים, פוקס הצילו את המצב עם המשחק הסופר מעניין של דאלאס בטמפה ואת המנה העיקרית METV ממשיכים לספק לנו. חבל שהם לא משדרים במשחק המוקדם את המשחק בוומבלי אבל נתגבר...

מה שמפחיד אותי הוא המאנדיי נייט שנופל על המשחק החמישי בוורלד סירייס כי כבר ראינו מה הן ההעדפות של ESPN ישראל כשזה מגיע לבייסבול vs פוטבול (שזה בכלל חתיכת טמטום כי הבייסבול משודר אצלנו גם בפוקס).

 

תגידו חבר'ה מה דעתכם על המשחק בלונדון? אם רוג'ר גדל רוצה לשווק את הליגה באירופה למה הוא לא שולח קבוצות לשם בתחילת הליגה? ה'גאיינטס לקחו לפני עונה את המשחק באירופה ובסוף גם את אליפות, אז למשחק של היום בוומבלי יש כנראה חשיבות נוספת...לא סתם, לא מבין את הקטע הזה כי הסיינטס והצ'רג'רס יחזרו אחר כך לצד השני של העולם עם ג'ט לג רציני. אני עצלן בשביל לבדוק, אבל אולי יש לשתי הקבוצות בשבוע הבא חופש?

 

תראו לי איפה יש קווטרבקים שרצים מינוס 26 יארד כדי לעשות סייפטי מכוון שגומר את השעון ומחזיר לקבוצה היריבה את הכדור עם שנייה על השעון... דרו בריס, אוהבים אותך הרבה. הרבה מאוד!

המשחק בטקסס היה שואה מבחינה התקפית אבל תנו לי משחק כזה כל שבוע ואני מסופק. הגנות גדולות, מתח בסיום, ג'רי ג'ונס עומד להתפוצץ בluxury box, רק סיום אחר והכל היה בסדר. לא רואה איך הם מצליחים להשיג ניצחון מול הג'איינטס עם בראד ג'ונסון. לפני הפתיחה הראשונה שלו חשבתי שהוא יהיה סולידי אבל הבחור מתקשה להשלים מסירות לפאקינג 5-10 יארד... בנס הם הצליחו לגרד את ה-TD ב9 שניות האחרונות של המחצית.

 

אכזרי, אכזרי מאוד להפסיד משחק כזה בגלל פציעה של לונג סנאפר אבל היי, זה פוטבול אמיתי!

משחק שעמד בכל הציפיות שהיו ממנו עם מלחמת עולם של ממש בזכות הגנות מדהימות כשבכל סוף מהלך אתה רואה לפחות שני שחקנים שמתקשים להיזכר איפה הם נמצאים. הסטילרז פתחו טוב עם ה-TD המהיר של מאוולדה מור (התרומה שלו קצת אנדרייטד לטעמי, מדובר פה בפאקינג רץ שלישי שנותן כבר כמה שבועות תצוגות של רץ מהשורה הראשונה) והצליחו לנצל אימפוטנציה מוחלטת של הג'איינטס ברד זון, גם בזכות הגנה גדולה אבל בעיקר בגלל play calling עלוב של קופלין ושל האופנסיב קורדינאייטור שהלכו על מהלכי מסירה של איליי מה-2 יארד ליין ועד שהם נזכרו שיש להם איזה בהמה בשם ג'ייקובס, הסטילרז התעלו בצורה מטורפת ועצרו את זה.

אחר כך זה כבר הפך למשחק של טעויות מצד שתי הקבוצות בין אם באינטרספשנים מיותרים של ביג בן ובין אם בפנאלטיז המטומטמים בכל שנייה עד לאותה פציעה של הלונג סנאפר שהכריחה את פיטסבורג להשתמש בבקאפ לונג סנאפר הלוא הוא ג'יימס האריסון שהוצאת כדור שלו הביאה לסייפטי שהשווה את התוצאה ונתן את הכדור לג'איינטס. וכצפוי לקבוצה שכל היום רק התבזתה ברד זון עם פילד גולים, ה-TD המיוחל של קווין בוס לבסוף הגיע וניו יורק יוצאים אם W ענקי מהיינץ פילד...


ומעניין לעניין, איתי אנחנו מחכים לחוויות מהדולפינס סטאדיום, בכל זאת לראות את טד גין ג'וניור (WHO?!) דופק עליכם משחק של 175 יארד זה דבר לא פשוט לעיכול... http://www.asoccer.co.il/html/emoticons/wink.Xxx

 

fuck... i mean, going to an NFL game is a fantastic experience, no matter who's playing, but obviously us losing left a bitter taste in my mouth at the end of the game. We just didn't play good enough throughout the whole game, even when we led it was unconvincing. We weren't functioning well on the lines, especially our Schobell-less D-line that didn't get any pressure on man of the match Chad fuckin Pennington (he was perfect today, rock solid). Ted Ginn had Terrence McGee's number all day long, he was always open and Pennington always hit him on stride with perfectly thrown balls. Our O-line was OK i guess, since the hits that Trent took (including a stupid safety that effectively sealed the game) came after he was just sitting in the pocket for some time instead of getting rid of the football. Trent wasn't playing well at all, missing open throws, making bad decisions, fumbling a huge momentum-shifting fumble, not the Trent Edwards we got used to seeing. hopefully he comes back strong next week in a must-win home game against the Jets.

NFL games are fun though... the tailgating in the parking lot, the food, the beer, the game itself... what a shame we lost.

Ryan Howard is officially in business! and the Phillies might make their world series win official tomorrow with Cole Hamels pitching for the series. But with the city of Philadelphia you just never know...

 

Go down to the the fucking Giants at home really sucks but it doesn't change the facts. Eli and his crew are still the most overrated team in the NFL (now more then ever before) and my Black&Gold warriors are still gona be there when it matters. at the playoff. We have so many problems and we're still in it evry week, this is great news for us.

Did'nt even got the chance to change my fantasy team, i need a good game from Dallas Clarck to pull the V from nowhere.

 

over-rated? name one NFC team batter than the Giants... i'm not saying Eli is his brother or Brady, but he's a solid franchise QB in the league, and with that defense, that offensive line and that running game you don't need more than that to win football games.

The Boys are more talented than the Giants, agreed, but they have their issues, and aside from them i can't think of an NFC team more talented than the Giants, not to mention performing on the field as well as the Giants.

and i didn't mean to insult the Steelers by any means, they are definitely my favourite team from the AFC's elite (i believe that Buffalo is still a year-two years away from being in that group), and i also believe that with Brady's injury they are the favourites to represent the AFC in Superbowl. They have dealt with plenty of injuries and off the field issues in an admirable fashion. A talented team with some attitiude... they'll go deep into the postseason. And if you beat that Steelers team in Heinz Field you can't be an awful team, right?!

The doping scanal is picking up pace, apparently the Williams monsters of the Vikings are both involved. Without them the Vikings shouldn't even bother to show up for games...

Giant's were ranked No.1 in most power rankings last week, I guess they'll be No. 1 in all of this week... you can say what ever you want, you can call Eli a franchise QB until tommorow (http://www.asoccer.co.il/html/emoticons/hahaha.Xxx)- I just can't undrstand people that say that the fucking G's are the best team in pro football base on what they have shown so far on the field.

he somehow got you a TD against the Titans... what a physical battle so far, with the Colts stepping up to the game on both lines and matching up with the beasts of the Titans pretty well. 7-6 at halftime, tough old-school football, should be a close one all the way.

as for QB's:
the way i see it there's the elite, in which i place Peyton Manning and Tom Brady.
A healthy Donovan McNabb is somewhere in between.
Then there's the good franchise QB's, like Big Ben, Eli Manning, Jay Cutler, Jason Campbell, the aging Favre etc.
Then there are your average caretakers like Pennington and Kerry Collins...
and then rock bottom, which is whoever plays for the Lions and Niners.

 

damn... that's a bunch of tough mother******s up in Tennessee. Kerry Collins included. Down 14-6 the Titans were in an unfamiliar situation. They are used to playing with a lead and milking the clock on the ground, but today they had to open it up in order to get back into the game, and boy Collins threw'em right on the money. He doesn't have the big arm at his age but he is accurate and he makes great decisions. Today the Titans' running game complemented their passing game, not the other way around. On defense they managed to come up with a couple of huge 4th down stops, but it wasn't a really dominant performance from their famous front 7. I was more impressed today by the secondary, who made some huge plays (including two interceptions) despite Peyton Manning getting some good protection from his O-line (he wasn't sacked at all). A very under-rated secondary there with Finnigan and Griffin, overshadowed by the big fron 7. This team is for real and is going to the playoffs. They remind me of the great defensive championship teams of the Ravens and Bucs in the early 2000's.

טנסי are for real, וכל זה עם קרי קולינס, קרי מי? ג'ף פישר כבר הבטיח לווינס יאנג שעוד יחזור להיות ה-QB הפותח, אבל בצורה הזאת אני חושש שזה יקרה רק בעונה הבאה. כל עוד זה הולך, לדעתי היריבות של הטייטנס צריכות לעשות התקפות מהירות כי התקפת טנסי פשוט נשארת שנים על המגרש.

אישית, אני די אוהב את זה כי הרבה יותר קל להעיף כדור למרחק. נכון, מסירת עומק היא גם דבר יפה, אבל צורת המשחק של טנסי גם מאד מושכת אותי.

הקולטס מסתבכים, כמו שכבר כתבתי לפני כמה ימים, לוח המשחקים שלהם לא מאפשרת כרגע רצף של נצחונות קלים עם הבנגלס וקבוצות חלשות אחרות. בוב סנדרס עומד כנראה בשבוע הבא לחזור. הם ייצטרכו אותו כי צפוייה להיות מלחמה נגד הפאטס שבכל מקרה עדיין חזק בתמונת הפלייאוף. אם לא בילצ'ק אולי הייתי בשבוע הבא בעדם כי קאסל עושה עבודה נהדרת.
